Welcome back. It’s been slightly longer than planned since the last edition; there have been much more important things going on in the world and this will have been the last thing on everyone’s minds.
I’m in awe of those of you who are manning social channels and standing up for your clubs’ values in the face of abuse. Stay strong, and continue fighting the good fight.
I’m delighted to be starting the newsletter with a link to an article by Lukas Müller from FC Midtylland. A few weeks ago, Lukas shared a graphic that compared the club’s performance on TikTok to clubs in the Bundesliga, and I spoke to him in private about how they were approaching social. He was kind enough to accept my offer of putting his thoughts down in writing to share on the site.

How FC Midtylland transformed their social strategy
Barcelona launch BarcaTV+
La Liga testing virtual fans for closed venue broadcasts
The Football Content Awards voting begins
12 ways to use UTM parameters
The Press Conference Facebook group
That’s it this time. As ever, if you come across something you think would be useful for a future edition you can email me by replying to this, or send me a link on Twitter.
